One of my logos used two triangles positioned together so that they created a star, this was a simple design that was easy to create, it effectively stood out to people when I asked them to look at it and the feedback I got was decent. I only used a red outline to draw the logo and therefore this allowed the shape to stand out due to the contrast between the two colours. some people said that they feel that the logo could benefit from some colour however this did not reflect the logos that I had researched and those were all highly successful companies.
I decided to use a dog as part of my log
o in one of my designs, this was because I wanted to use something recognisable and other companies had already effectively done this, such as; HMV, Frosties etc.
This logo was drawn in a red ink and this was also onto a white background, therefore it stood out to the audience this way.
The third logo that I designed was of a group of people shown as sillouettes, the aim behind this was to show the logo representing a wide range of people, reflecting the companies wide-range of followers. This logo was done in black and white meaning that it stands out to the audience allowing it to be an easily recogni
sable logo.
As these were my original designs for my institutional logo, I have taken on board the information that I have recieved as feedback from people who have look at the logos, consequently I will continue to advance the
creating of my logo.
