I will be using pokers chips as props in my production, these will feature in both the trailer and the print products. The reason behind me choosing to use these as props is because of the theme throughout the film, the film is based around a 'gambling' idea. The poker chips are used when playing poker and as this is a main feature within the film, I have decided to include them in my products.
I have decided to use the cards as props for the same reasons as the poker chips. They are iconic symbols, by this I mean that everyone will recognise a deck of playing cards if they saw some, this helps the audience to easily identify what the film is about.
My main actor will require to wear a suit in some of the trailer, I have decided to dress my actor in a suit for a couple of reasons; the suit represents a smart and possibly wealthy person, the suit is also typically what a poker player would wear to a serious poker match. The suit also fits in with the target audience which I am trying to attract to my product, because of the age bracket which I am aiming my product towards I feel as though they will aspire be able to wear a suit and live the lifestyle that is being portrayed in the film trailer.
