1) Firstly I have to have a good idea to pursue and use for my film, I can do this by brainstorming things that fit into the criteria that I have been given.
2) Developement Finance is where you decide whether or not you have sufficient finance to fund the making of the film and the promotional package, for my productional I will just have to work on the basis of the equipment that I have use of.
3) Script developement is the process of jotting my ideas down for my script and what is happening in my film trailer.
4) Packaging is when the script is put forwards to developing companies.
5) financing is when the budget is produced so that the films money as spent wisely and not wasted on unecessary things, making the production of the film more effective.
6) Pre-production is when the final pieces of the planning, making the production as professional as possible and minimises mistakes.
7) The shoot is when the trailer will be filmed, we choose a suitable recce for this and ensure that the risk assessments have been filled out correctly, also we need to make sure that all the actors involved have filled in a sheet to authorise their participation in the trailer.
8) The post production phase is when the company edit the film that they have recorded and therefore this makes the film a better quality and a better end product.
9) Sale is when the company selll their film that they have made, this involves heavy promotion and can be used along side other products in the market in terms of synergy.
10) Marketing is when the company decides how to pitch their product and then spread its awareness to others, this is normally done with the use of meetings amongst the staff.
11) The exibition is a way of saying that the final product is ready for the audience to consume and enjoy, this means that a lot of people will be aware of the product, usually done with a big organised event.
12) Other windows are the opportunities which may arise from the success of the film, such as a book, or a sequel, merchandise will also be a good way of generating money through the films success.
